It has just been reported by the United States District Court that Animatics Corporation has successfully defended the integrated motor patent against Quicksilver Controls Inc. for the specific products QCI-17, QCI-17H, QCI-23, QCI-23H, QCI-34N, QCI-34H, and QCI-34HC and infringing variations thereon. More importantly, effective January 10th, 2003, an injunction has been issued against Quicksilver Controls Inc. ordering them to stop the manufacture, marketing, distribution, and sale of their integrated motor product.

Pneu-Motion expands motion control product offering by adding new servo system manufacturer. The innovative SMARTMOTOR from Animatics Corporation is an entire sevo motion control system packed inside a very high quality brushless DC servo motor, which is also capable of controlling an entire machine. Sizes range from NEMA 17 to NEMA 56.
