In December of last year, Automation Solutions, Inc. entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger with Pneu-Motion, Inc. We believe this transaction will benefit our customers, employees and vendors. We are pleased to announce that the transaction closed on December 31, 2008.

Pneumatic Cylinders and Couplers

Pneu-Motion, Inc. partners with Pneumatic Cylinders & Couplers who specialize in aluminum and stainless steel cylinders and accessories. Pneumatic C & C provides standard NFPA cylinders to special custom cylinder products, which combine proven design features with the finest available materials and superior workmanship.


1999

Animatics

Pneu-Motion expands motion control product offering by adding new servo system manufacturer. The innovative SMARTMOTOR from Animatics Corporation is an entire sevo motion control system packed inside a very high quality brushless DC servo motor, which is also capable of controlling an entire machine. Sizes range from NEMA 17 to NEMA 56. 


Animatics

Reported by the United States District Court that Animatics Corporation has successfully defended the integrated motor patent against Quicksilver Controls Inc. for the specific products QCI-17, QCI-17H, QCI-23, QCI-23H, QCI-34N, QCI-34H, and QCI-34HC and infringing variations thereon. More importantly, effective January 10th, 2003, an injunction has been issued against Quicksilver Controls Inc. ordering them to stop the manufacture, marketing, distribution, and sale of their integrated motor product.
